As we get further into Fall and the temperature plummets there comes a point where we all have to slip on a warm, snugly coat and a pair of thick, woolen tights.
Choose a fashionable, but substantial coat to take you through the wet and frosty weather that we all experience coming up to Christmas and into January ( unless your Australian) Make it a statement piece in your wardrobe, that promises to make an impact at every occasion. I chose a vintage velvet, snake print coat, after taking inspiration from style icon, Alexa Chung.

Animal print coats have been sported by celebs including: Anna Wintour, Fearne Cotton and Model, Kate Moss. They can be dressed down with black skinny's and a grey top or dressed up with a little black dress and some heels.
I paired mine with a vintage cotton shift dress and black chained flats for a more casual look for college. For a quick change for an evening, I plan to pair them with some black wedges and a beaded clutch.
